Strictly Come Dancing 2018 – Week 11 (Musicals Week) Discussion/Poll

Strictly has hit the musicals for this week’s quarter final and the remaining 6 couples are dancing numbers from the musicals in a bid to earn a place in next week’s Semi Final.

Who was a west end hit? And who was out of tune? You can let me know your thoughts about that or anything else to do with tonight’s show right here in the comments section.

Or join the communities over on Facebook or Twitter and let me know your thoughts on those networks. Each time you get involved in the discussion you earn a chance to win a £20 Amazon UK voucher.

As always a poll will open right here once all couples have danced and this time I am asking you who your four finalists are. You can select up to 4 options!

My bill for hosting this website for November came to close to £300. If you can afford to and want to help me out with these costs or just want to buy me a beer or a Christmas present you can do so using THIS LINK or the button below.

Talking of Christmas I’ve got a bonus spoiler for you this week as you can unwrap your Christmas presents early with The Christmas Special Spoiler.

Last week’s spoiler was VERY late but I’m hoping that this week’s will not be quite so late. It’s expected some time around 11pm so check back then or join the social networks linked above and you’ll be alerted when I post the spoiler.

Strictly Come Dancing 2018 – Week 11 (Quarter Final) Songs/Dances

Here we are at the business end of the competition and just two more eliminations separate our couples from the grand final and potentially lifting the glitterball. It’s also musicals weeks with all the couples doing routines inspired by the musicals

The BBC have just announced details of the songs and dances the 6 remaining couples will be performing on Saturday to try and get into the semi finals and I can reveal that:

  • Ashley and Pasha Quickstep to ‘Don’t Rain on My Parade’ from Funny Girl
  • Charles and Karen Rumba to ‘Maria’ from West Side Story
  • Faye and Giovanni Charleston to ‘Lonely Goatherd’ from the Sound of Music
  • Joe and Dianne perform a Salsa to ‘Joseph Megamix’ from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
  • Lauren and AJ American Smooth to ‘I’m in Love with a Wonderful Guy’ from South Pacific
  • Stacey and Kevin American Smooth to ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ from Les Misérables

Complaints to the BBC

What do you think of the song choices? As always you can let me know your thoughts on that right here in the comments section or why not head on over to Facebook or Twitter and let me know your thoughts on those networks. On Twitter remember to tag @davejthorp and include the hashtag #StrictlySpoiler in your comments.

Hosting and operating this website is costing me close to £300 a month while Strictly is on the site is placed under load. If you can afford to and want to help me out with these costs or if you just want to buy me a beer you can do so using THIS LINK or the button below

Strictly Come Dancing 2015 – Week 11 Spoilers

It was quarter final time and musical week and the 6 remaining couples danced in one of the shortest shows ever to see who would make it into next week’s semi final.  But despite the short show, the BBC still want you to wait a long time to find out the results. So who has been eliminated? Who are the semi finalists? The Strictly Spoiler is on hand to tell you all. So here are the results:

Georgia and Helen had to dance off. The judges saved Georgia. Helen was eliminated.

Complaints to the BBC!

This week’s spoiler has come from an audience mole through my usual sources and should be accurate.

You’ve just over a week to get your entries in for the Strictly Spoiler Competition to win a £50 amazon UK voucher. One lucky entry will be selected at random after next week’s not live results show and it could be you! But only if you’ve entered. If you previously entered on Facebook or Twitter you need to re enter on the competition post! Blame the BBC for that one!

You can’t like The Strictly Spoiler on Facebook at the moment because the BBC don’t want you to and they also seem to be taking their time restoring the page, something they agreed to do 9 days ago. They couldn’t possibly be waiting until the end of the series now could they? You can however still follow me over on Twitter to keep up to date with all things Strictly Spoiler.

You can still sign the petition to try and make the BBC or Facebook restore the Facebook page. It might make them do it quicker but like I said chances are they are waiting until the end of the series!

Please also give this post and all the posts on this site some love using the buttons for all major social networks and Google+ above and below. Especially Facebook because the BBC will love that! Or why not join the discussion over in the comments section using the link above.

Finally why not vote in this week’s poll and tell me who you want to see in the final. You can choose up to 4 options this week!
