Strictly Come Dancing 2021 Finalists – Rose and Giovanni

Here we are with the first part of my 3 part series taking a look at this year’s finalists and their journey to the final. We will be taking them in the order of qualification which means we begin with Rose and Giovanni…..

Worst Dance

As it probably should be we have to journey all the way back to week 1 of the competition for their worst routine. Their Jive during the first show of the series scored 22 points with the judges (6,6,4,6)

Best Dance

Rose and Giovanni have had all 4 judges reaching for their 10 paddles on two occasions this series. The first was the earliest maximum score ever and came in week 6 following their Tango (10,10,10,10)

The second occasion came during last weekend’s semi final. With Rose continuing her strong Tango performance this time during the Argentine Tango (10,10,10,10)

Average Score

Rose and Giovanni have amassed a total of 447 points across 13 routines making for an average of 34.4. This is marginally the lowest of the 3 finalists but all 3 finalists do have similar averages

Number of times in the Dance Off

Rose and Giovanni are the only couple this series (barring Robert and Dianne who withdrew) to have never landed in the Dance Off this series

Can they win?

The better question is can they lose. Momentum has been building and building for this couple since about week 3 of the series and they have been the odds on favourites with the bookmakers for weeks on weeks now. 71% of visitors to this website want them to lift the glitter ball tomorrow night.

The final is a lot closer in terms of ability but in terms of public support, the journey this couple of been on, how Rose has embraced Strictly despite not being able to hear the music she is dancing to and the beautiful partnership Rose and Giovanni have formed its going to take a very strong final and a massive shift in the public opinion to see anyone but Rose and Giovanni crowned as champions tomorrow

Will you be supporting Rose and Giovanni? As always you can let me know your thoughts about that over on Facebook or Twitter. Each time you get involved in the discussion on the social networks you earn an entry into the biggest competition I have ever run with a whopping £500 voucher up for grabs for one lucky winner this series. Full details of the competition can be found here.

Don’t forget you can check out The Festive Spoiler and get your Christmas presents early! Or please check out my annual thanks post where I talk about what has been a mind boggling year for this site!

My hosting bill for November was an eye watering £900 and my December bill is already even higher. If I provide you a useful service please consider helping me out with these spiralling costs by making a one time donation using THIS LINK or the button below. Please only do so if you can afford to do so and there is no obligation on anyone to help me out this way. Also please make sure you click the send money option and not the request money as a few people have been accidentally requesting money.

Or why not join the crew on Patreon. For less than the price of a coffee a month you gain access to the spoiler in an ad free form and also will gain access to the results of the exit poll providing the earliest indication as to how the dance off has gone each week minutes after The BBC vote closes and hours before the spoiler or any other spoiler source. The exit poll correctly predicted this week’s dance off giving Patreon subscribers the first indication of how things went seconds after The BBC vote closed and long before any other source!

No energy switches for the time being as the general advice for most during the energy crisis is to stay put. Instead why not earn cash back towards your mobile phone bill on your every day shopping. Sign up to Airtime Rewards using promo code 6T7W9L6X, link your credit/debit card and any time you shop at participating retailers you will automatically earn cash back which can be credited towards your mobile phone bill on most major UK networks

Or you can earn yourselves £10 and cashback on your everyday shopping by signing up to Quidco. I’ve earned over £1000 myself from my shopping or signing up to products/services through Quidco and they’re definitely worth checking out!

Stay tuned as later today we’ll be continuing this series with AJ and Kai John and Johannes

I do however still have the Christmas Special spoiler and if you’d like to unwrap your presents a little early you can do so by checking out the spoiler on this link! It’s the spoiler that horrifies those who view it if The Sun is to be believed (which it isn’t!)

Please also take a couple of minutes to read this year’s thank you post where I talk about the 2019 series for The Strictly Spoiler and thank those who have contributed towards the huge success the site has had this year.

Polls will be opening right here throughout the final to ask who your winners are after each dance so check back for them
