First 2021 Celebrity Revealed

After what seems like a long year thanks to assorted lockdowns Strictly Season is back!!! The BBC are kicking off what is a hat trick of reveals on tonight’s The One Show. But don’t worry, there’s no need to put yourself through the BBC’s daily magazine show unnecessarily as I’m on hand to reveal the contestants at the same time. And first to be revealed from the class of 2021 is…….

Tom Fletcher

Tom is best known as a member of McFly

Complaints (or any comments asking who they are) to The BBC!

What do you think of the first cast member? As always you can let me know right here in the comments or over on Facebook or Twitter! No prizes…… yet! But stay tuned as after a year absence regular competitions will be back this series assuming nothing like a 26th lockdown gets in the way!

We’re heading into Strictly season so traffic to this site, and therefore my costs will soon start to sky rocket. If you want to help me out with these costs with a one time donation you can do so using THIS LINK or the button below. Please only do so if you can afford to do so and there is no obligation on anyone to help me out this way.

Or why not join the crew on patreon? New for 2021 I have more than a warm fuzzy feeling on offer for my patreon subscribers as patreon subscribers gain exclusive access to the results of the exit poll each week. The earliest indication as to how the public vote has gone providing a possible spoiler hours before any other source as soon as The BBC vote closes each week. Plus the spoiler will be shared to patreon subscribers free of other monetisation in an ad free form! All for less than the price of a coffee each month!

Or you can support me and earn yourselves £50 in the bargain by checking your energy prices and switching to Octopus Energy. Octopus have cheap green renewable energy, are a Which recommended supplier and are routinely cheaper than the energy price cap that many suppliers set their prices based on. The energy market is in turmoil at the moment with prices sky rocketing so this is a really good time to check you are on the best deal!

Stay tuned as there will be more contestant announcements coming plus full details of the 2021 competition where you will be able to win the biggest prize I have ever given away (barring Covid issues preventing me running it). More details very soon!

HRVY Tests Positive For Covid-19

It has been announced overnight that Strictly participant HRVY has tested positive for Covid-19 and is currently self isolating.

At the moment HRVY is still expected to participate in the series however its worth mentioning that the launch show is due to be filmed in 10 days time so the end of his isolation period may clash with that particularly if he develops symptoms which would reset his self isolation timer.

I’m sure the rest of the community will join me in wishing HRVY a speedy recovery and we hope to see him on the dance floor in a few weeks.

Due to the late start of Strictly my September earnings were on course to be down 95% compared with 2019. Thankfully due to a flurry of energy switches in the last week or so that’s dropped to 50% which whilst not ideal is at least better.

Checking your energy prices is one of the easiest ways to help me out for free and earn yourselves £50 in the bargain by switching using my magic link (you must complete the switch using the link and not just get a quote which you come back to later). Octopus energy have 100% green electricity, are a Which recommended supplier and were one of the few suppliers to maintain a full telephone service during the pandemic. They’re a different supplier to the one I was recommending last series and are definitely worth a look as we head into the colder months.

Or you can help me out for free by doing something as simple as sharing my content using the buttons above and below for all popular social networks or by using the like/react/share/retweet buttons on those networks. Or by getting involved in the discussions on those networks which helps with my visibility.

If you are fortunate enough to have not been adversely affected by the coronavirus pandemic you could also consider becoming a patreon. Donations on patreon start at just the price of a coffee a month and if the patreon page takes off I can start looking at patreon exclusive content/rewards.

Alternatively you can make a one time financial donation using THIS LINK or the button below. Like always, though in the current pandemic it is even more important, I must stress that the direct financial donations should only be done if you can afford it. These are difficult times for us all and I would not expect people to help me out if it causes them hardship.

I know most of you will probably skip the next few paragraphs but I’m hopeful that a few of you don’t. This series is already looking to be 3 or 4 weeks shorter than normal which means I’m going to be losing a huge chunk of my annual income because of the pandemic. However the costs of operating this site continue and will be pretty much the same as normal. Like in previous years I’m asking for people to help me out either directly or indirectly.

One of the easiest ways to help me out for free and earn yourselves £50 in the bargain is to check your energy prices and switch using my magic link (you must complete the switch using the link and not just get a quote which you come back to later).
