They are presently running a competition where you can learn to dance a professional Tango routine by following the guide in two videos on YouTube. Film your efforts and upload them to social media and you would be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets to Vincent and Flavia’s show.
Please note this competition is not being run by The Strictly Spoiler and any queries should be made to ATG. Full details of the competition as well as how you can submit your entries and the training videos are below. Good luck if you do enter!

#CouchToTango
Video Competition
Upload videos of your routines at home to win two free tickets to The Last Tango and a pair of signed programmes
Welcome to Couch to Tango! ATG Tickets’ very own dance tutorial series and exclusive competition, led by stars of The Last Tango Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace. Learning over two short videos – given to you in Part One and Part Two – you will be up off your sofa and up on your feet mastering a passionate tango routine and strutting your stuff along with these two Strictly Come Dancing superstars. So grab a partner and limber up as you learn the essential steps needed to perform your very own tango in the comfort of your home…
With our #CouchToTango video competition, your routine could even see you dancing your way to the West End with two free tickets to The Last Tango at the Phoenix Theatre and two signed programmes up for grabs! Vincent and Flavia may be dancing their last tango, and you may be dancing your first, but they want to see your routines. Perfect the steps, put a personal spin on it and upload a video of you and your partner dancing the full Couch to Tango routine, because their favourite will be winning this great prize.
Your deadline for submitting your videos is Friday 28th October!
If you want to show your tango to Vincent and Flavia and be in with the chance of winning two free tickets to see their show, follow these simple steps:
Step One: Choose your partner
It takes two to tango, and as Flavia has told us, patience is key. They want to see natural chemistry, so make sure you partner up with somebody you trust, can feel the heat for, and most importantly, have a bit of fun with!
Step Two: Watch the videos
Make sure you study both Part One and Two to build the full routine together. Remember, there’s no rush, so you can rewind and replay the videos as much as you like to nail every single move…
Step Three: Download the music
Visit the Couch to Tango page below download our Couch to Tango soundtrack. Why not download it onto your phone or iPod so you can familiarise yourself with the beat and listen to it on the go? There’s never a bad time for a rehearsal!
Vincent and Flavia want to be impressed. Think carefully about unusual locations where you might not usually see a tango, and most importantly, what your costumes are. As well as precision and synchronisation, they are looking for imagination and entertainment, so think outside the box!
Step Five: Record your routine
You can have as many takes as you like (they’ll never know…) so make sure you have the perfect video recording that you can upload for judging.
Step Six: Upload your video on social media
We are taking submissions on all three of our channels: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Just make sure you use the hashtag #CouchToTango for your video to be spotted and taken into consideration…
Mention and tag ATG Tickets in your posts as well or link to the Couch to Tango page (http://www.atgtickets.com/blog/couch-to-tango/), so other people can get off their couches and try their hands at the tango also!
We will compile entries so far on our pages (not here at The Strictly Spoiler) to see all the wonderful routines we receive! Remember, your deadline for submitting your videos is Friday 28th October, and we will be announcing Vincent and Flavia’s favourite on Monday 31st!
Fresh from their sell-out hit shows Midnight Tango and Dance ’Til Dawn, Strictly Come Dancing superstars Vincent Simone & Flavia Cacace have created their most moving production yet as they prepare to dance in their final ever London show following a hit UK and Ireland tour.
