Strictly Come Dancing 2017 – Week 5 Spoilers

The Halloween Spooktacular is just a week away, the ghost of Bruno was possessing Craig this week and Shirley gave out her second 10 of the series to Joe and Katya. But you haven’t come to read about that. With two four way ties on the leaderboard tonight not helped by the absence of a 4th judge to break those ties tonight’s dance off has the capacity to possibly (or not!) be a complete and utter lottery. But fortunately The Strictly Spoiler is on hand to give you the lottery results. So here they are……

Simon and Brian had to dance off. The judges saved Simon (unanimously all 3 judges saved Simon). Brian was eliminated.

Complaints to the BBC.

This week’s spoiler has come from an audience mole through a spoiler group who has previously provided spoilers to my usual sources and should be accurate.

Three winners to tell you about this week. Firstly well done to Sandra on Facebook and Fay who commented right here at the home of the Strictly Spoiler. Both of you have won a £20 Amazon UK voucher. I’m still waiting for the winner on Twitter to claim their prize so check your DM’s if you haven’t already as it could be you!!

Strictly Come Dancing 2017 – Week 5 Discussion/Poll

The halloween spooktacular is just a week away but before that the 12 remaining couples have to safely navigate week 5. The judging will be 986765% calmer as Bruno is being given a large dose of horse tranquillisers to calm him down for the rest of the series.

But who deserves a place in the halloween week and who should be sent packing tonight?

You can let me know your thoughts about that or anything else to do with tonight’s show right here in the comments section (comments section only appears when clicked directly in to a post, not on the home page) or over on Facebook or Twitter. Each time you join the discussion you earn an entry into the competition to win one of THREE Amazon UK vouchers I have to give away each and every week this series, one for each entry method. Don’t forget on Twitter to tag @davejthorp and include #StrictlySpoiler for your entry to count and remember you must be liking or following me on those networks for your entry to count on those networks. More details about the competition can be found here.

For the best chance of winning a prize in the competition you should join the discussion right here at the home of the strictly spoiler which at this point in the series is attracting fewer comments than it will later in the series giving you a better chance to win compared to Facebook or Twitter. The comments system for this site can be found at the bottom of each and every post but you must be clicked in to the individual posts and not on the home pages or it won’t show!

As always a poll will open right here once all the couples have danced so you can tell me who your favourites were this week! You can select up to 3 options.

Please remember to give this post some love using all the buttons for all the popular social networks and Google+ above and below. Your likes and shares help to spread the word about The Strictly Spoiler and are really appreciated. Don’t forget you can follow me on Twitter or like The Strictly Spoiler on Facebook to keep up with all things Strictly Spoiler and be alerted as to when the spoiler comes in

Strictly Come Dancing 2017 – Week 5 Songs/Dances

Sorry this is a little late but real life got in the way. Who would have thought that studying a full time masters course during the week and working all weekend would be so demanding. Anyway the BBC on Tuesday revealed the songs/dances that the remaining couples will be performing tomorrow for our viewing pleasure. And they are…..

  • Brian and Amy will Jive to It’s Not Unusual by Tom Jones
  • Davood and Nadiya perform the Jive to Tell Her About It by Billy Joel
  • Debbie and Giovanni dance the Rumba to Baby Can I Hold You by Tracy Chapman
  • Gemma and Aljaz will perform a Foxtrot to Believe by Madilyn Bailey
  • Joe and Katya perform a Paso Doble to Diablo Rojo by Rodrigo y Gabriela
  • Jonnie and Oti dance the Quickstep to Part-Time Lover by Stevie Wonder

It’s also being reported that Bruno will not be on the judging panel due to other work commitments and there will be just 3 judges on the panel tomorrow.

What do you think of the song choices or the changes to the panel? You can let me know your thoughts on that right here in the comments or over on Facebook or Twitter.
