Strictly 2015 Contestants To Start Being Announced

Zoe Ball has revealed that the first contestant will be announced on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 on Monday 10th August (sometime between 06:30 and 09:30 BST….. probably towards the later end of that slot given the BBC’s love for dragging things out).

This has led to some speculation that perhaps Evans himself will be the announced participant after Scott Mills announced his participation on his radio show last year. Although Chris is rather busy what with the Breakfast Show, Top Gear and a new series of TFI Friday but nothing is impossible!

Strictly Pros Group Shot

The BBC have today released a shot on their Facebook and Twitter feeds of the pros getting together to begin preparations for the new series expected to kick off next month. The shot includes the 3 new pros Giovanni Pernice, Gleb Savchenko and Otlile Mabuse as well as returning pros from other series.

The Countdown to Strictly Come Dancing 2015 Begins Here

We’re now just one month or so away from the launch of Strictly Come Dancing 2015 and it’s expected that the BBC will start to drip feed us details of the contestants in the coming weeks in a similar manner to how they drip feed us the results.

As soon as there is news on the contestants you can read it here along with my assessment of what I think their chances are.
