Strictly Come Dancing 2022 Finalists – Hamza and Jowita

Here we are with the second part in my four part guide where I look at each of the finalists and their Strictly journeys so far. As always I run this series in the order of qualification for the final and so we continue with Hamza and Jowita

Worst Dance

You have to go all the way back to week 2 for their lowest scoring routine. Their Jive scored 24 points with the judges with Craig in particular being unimpressed (4,7,6,7)

Best Dance

Hamza and Jowita have fallen short of a maximum on two occasions with Craig (surprise surprise) being the denier. The first occasion was in week 4 when their Salsa wowed the judges and will be performed again in tonight’s final as the judges pick (9,10,10,10)

There was a long wait for their second near maximum which came during last weekend’s semi final and their Charleston had everyone bar Craig reaching for their 10s (9,10,10,10)

Average Score

Hamza and Jowita have amassed a total of 453 points from 13 routines making for the same average of 34.8 as Molly and Carlos however Hamza and Jowita have scored one point more than their fellow finalists making them marginally the best dancers on average

Number of times in the Dance Off

Hamza and Jowita are one of two finalists to have never faced a dance off

Can they win?

Hamza and Jowita have topped most of my polls this series including the current one asking which of the finalists you want to win which they at the time of writing have 41.61% in. This series really seems to be theirs to lose and currently looks like a two horse race between them and Helen and Gorka.

But Helen and Gorka are on the rise and have actually swapped places with Hamza and Jowita in the current poll on a few occasions so the glitterball is not Hamza and Jowita’s quite yet and they need to come out with a strong final to maintain the slight advantage they have in the public vote if they are going to win

Will you be supporting Hamza and Jowita? You can let me and the community know over on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. Each time you join the discussions on the socials you earn a chance to win a £20 Amazon UK voucher. You can still vote in the finalists poll below telling me who you want to win the series.

Don’t forget that whilst there may be no more regular spoilers this series there is still the Festive Spoiler for your perusal if you’d like to know what you are getting for Christmas early.

Have I provided you a useful service? That service costs me a lot to run and I’ve spent over £2.5k in hosting costs to keep this site up at peak times which is a ludicrous amount at the best of times never mind during a cost of living crisis! If you want to help me out with these costs with a one time donation (or just thank me for all the spoilers) you can do so using THIS LINK or the button below. Please only do so if you can afford to do so especially during this cost of living crisis and there is no obligation on anyone to help me out this way.

Or why not join the crew on patreon? Patreon subscribers gain exclusive access to the results of the exit poll each week. The earliest indication as to how the public vote has gone providing a possible spoiler hours before any other source as soon as The BBC vote closes each week. If that’s not enough the spoiler will be shared to patreon subscribers free of other monetisation in an ad free form! All for a voluntary level of contribution starting from less than the price of a coffee each month!
