Max George Eliminated From Strictly Come Dancing 2020

As revealed in last night’s Strictly Spoiler, Max and Dianne have been eliminated after losing in the dance off to Maisie and Gorka.

You can relive their American Smooth in the video below:

Did the right couple leave? As always you can let me know your thoughts about that or anything else to do with tonight’s not live results show right here in the comments or over on Facebook/Twitter.

You can still vote in this week’s poll and tell me who got your votes/who your favourites were. Like always you can select up to 3 options. Unless you are a robot. Then you can select zero options!

This poll is no longer accepting votes

Strictly 2020 Week 4 - Who got your vote? (choose up to 3)

I need to take a couple of minutes once again to talk about the changes to this site during lockdown. A few people on social media simply are not getting it (though some are clearly trolling on purpose). DUE TO COVID THINGS ARE DIFFERENT!

There is no audience at the moment to leak the results so spoiler sources are having to be more creative. My solution, and it’s one that a number of other sources are now trying to emulate, is to take advantage of the fact that thousands of you vote in my polls and use the data from them in the scoring system to generate a result.

The very first spoiler I release on a Saturday night is based on this exit poll and contains countless disclaimers saying IT MAY NOT BE ACCURATE. And last night it wasn’t accurate because it predicted a Caroline vs Maisie dance off with Caroline eliminated. Though it wasn’t as wrong as it appeared to be as Max was just above the drop zone on level points with the bottom two but saved from my prediction by his stronger public vote on this website at the time I took the poll snapshot.

These poll based spoilers, whilst they were right the last two weeks, are only meant to be taken as a guide and people need to look at the bigger picture when checking them out. Max, Ranvir and JJ were all clearly also in danger besides the bottom two I predicted and any of them could have been in the dance off too which I did state on the post if people had bothered to read it. Plus all that was needed for the dance off to change to how it actually ended up was a swapping of Caroline and Max’s public vote which happened several times before I took my snapshot last night.

In spite of this there’s been comments on the social networking sites asking why I got it wrong, asking why the spoiler changed, comments on posts discussing the correct spoiler mentioning the wrong poll based spoiler and some general trolling. Frankly it is not my fault if people can’t read (or just choose to skip to the good bit without reading the multiple warnings about the accuracy of the exit poll). READ THE CONTENT (though I suspect I’m preaching to the people who actually do read the content here).

I covered this last weekend but here it is again. Over the course of a weekend, while we are in lockdown, there will be two spoilers released. The first based on the exit poll will land at about a normal time on Saturday night. If you want 100% accuracy in your spoiler you should skip this spoiler. It isn’t what you are looking for so for everyone’s sake stay away from it and do not quote it anywhere else as a confirmed spoiler because it isn’t confirmed. The confirmation will come later that night or towards lunchtime on Sunday when I get confirmation of the results from my other sources. If you follow me on the social networks I’ll even keep you apprised of when the spoiler has been updated with confirmation/correction and information like how the judges voted!

I am trying my best to keep operating and keep providing you with a spoiler in what are currently difficult times!

Speaking of operating providing this site is still going to cost me close to £1000 this series. I always stress this on the donation links but it is more important than ever in 2020 that you only consider helping me out with these costs if you can afford to do so. I would not want to cause anyone else hardship because they chose to help me out. However all donations are as ever gratefully received. You can make a one time donation by clicking on THIS LINK or using the button below:

Also new for 2020 you can make a regular donation by becoming a patreon. Donations on patreon start at just the price of a coffee a month and if the patreon page takes off I can start looking at patreon exclusive content/rewards.

There’s also ways you can help me out for free and even make some money yourself by doing so. One way I’ve been plugging on social media a lot these last few weeks is by checking your energy prices and earning yourselves £50 in the bargain by switching using my magic link (you must complete the switch using the link and not just get a quote which you come back to later). Octopus energy have 100% green electricity, are a Which recommended supplier and were one of the few suppliers to maintain a full telephone service during the pandemic. They’re a different supplier to the one I was recommending last series and are definitely worth a look as we head into the colder months.

Switching energy suppliers is quick (it takes about 2 minutes to sign up from my link and usually about 3 weeks for the process to complete), there is no interruption to your energy supply, no engineers have to visit and you don’t need to change you meters (unless you sign up to a smart tariff and don’t have a compatible meter). I get £50 from every switch so this does help me out quite a bit.

Alternatively you can help me out by doing things as simple as liking all my content, sharing it and getting involved in the discussions on the social networks. This all helps to increase my visibility and get me noticed on those networks and is also appreciated!
