  1. Having now watched the DO myself now… i agree with the decision katie made no mistakes in the DO so deserved the place in the final

Its always sad to see anyone go tho at this stage

Enjoy your xmas every one xx

  2. Well I can’t judge the dance off from a technical PoV, but I know which dancing I prefer. I’ll miss the energy and sheer entertainment value that Anita & Gleb produced week after week. Hope to see Gleb back with another class partner next year.

  3. I agree that, in general, Katie is not as good a dancer as Anita, but Katie improved her dance in the DO & Anita didn’t. Len spotted a mistake that was corrected & he duly decided that she had danced better.

Unfortunately for Anita, I think Gleb pushed the boat a bit too far in the semi, he should have saved the crowd pleasing stuff up & gone for what he knew the judges would like.

Just such a shame that inconsistency by the judges has muddied the waters for this year’s show – lifts allowed for some & not others, footwork criticised when it suits & ignored when it doesn’t etc etc. Either start to give artistic & technical marks separately or bring in new judges who will tell us what they are looking for…..and stick to it!

  4. Good decision by the judges, really pleased to see this result! Hope Georgia or Jay will win, both are great. Can’t wait for the final 🙂

  5. Sorry I thought that salsa was more suited to an Olympics opening ceremony. It was awful to watch. Gleb has been pulled up several times for lack of content, which he ignored. The right decision was made, Katie may not have Anita’s ability but she did dance what she was supposed to do. It would have been more of a fix if Anita had got through on Foxtrot that was an AS and the salsa that was a messy and clunky show dance. Since the beginning dancers have been marked down or eliminated for illegal moves and lifts.
