Clara Amfo Eliminated From Strictly Come Dancing 2020

As revealed in last night’s and confirmed in this afternoon’s Strictly Spoiler, Clara and Aljaž have been eliminated after losing in the dance off to Jamie and Karen.

Complaints to the BBC

You can relive their Charleston from week 4 in the video below…..

Did the right couple leave? As always you can let me know your thoughts about that or anything else to do with tonight’s not live results show right here in the comments or over on Facebook/Twitter.

You can still vote in this week’s poll and tell me who got your votes/who your favourites were. Like always you can select up to 3 options. Unless you are a robot. Then you can select zero options!

This poll is no longer accepting votes

Strictly 2020 Week 6 - Who got your vote? (choose up to 3)

In theory this should have been the final week of Lockdown and things should have been getting back to normal next week. Unfortunately Boris Johnson put paid to that by using a random number generator to plunge most of the country into Lockdown with a different name! Whilst The BBC could technically operate an audience at either 50% capacity or 1000 people whichever is lower, personally I think given we have 3 weeks left The BBC may just choose to leave it as many people in theory shouldn’t be travelling to be in an audience.

This probably means that for the final 2 spoilers things will likely be as they have been for the last 4 weeks. There will be an initial spoiler based on the exit poll. A few people have been pretty critical of the exit poll and whilst it hasn’t gotten things quite right if you look purely at the bottom two I do clearly state that people should look at the bigger picture and if you do that its actually been pretty damn close most weeks. This week for example it had Clara vs JJ with Clara eliminated however it had JJ level on points with Jamie so that was a coin toss really as to which of those two was in the dance off with Clara.

Later on an unconfirmed (but usually correct) bottom two tends to come out and I do update the post to include this and also update the result if it changes and it is possible to infer a result from the bottom two however this isn’t always the case.

Confirmation from me comes now on a Sunday morning when my sources provide me with a cast iron confirmed spoiler. It’s at this point that I also tend to get information on how the judges voted in the dance off which few, if any, other sources get. This website is providing the most complete spoiler experience and continues to operate in what are currently difficult circumstances!

Speaking of operating providing this site is still going to cost me close to £1000 this series especially as I now have to maintain powerful servers on Sundays as well as Saturday night due to increased demand across Sunday! I always stress this on the donation links but it is more important than ever in 2020 that you only consider helping me out with these costs if you can afford to do so. I would not want to cause anyone else hardship because they chose to help me out. However all donations are as ever gratefully received. You can make a one time donation by clicking on THIS LINK or using the button below:

Also new for 2020 you can make a regular donation by becoming a patreon. Donations on patreon start at just the price of a coffee a month and if the patreon page takes off I can start looking at patreon exclusive content/rewards.

There’s also ways you can help me out for free and even make some money yourself by doing so. One way I’ve been plugging on social media a lot these last few weeks is by checking your energy prices and earning yourselves £50 in the bargain by switching using my magic link (you must complete the switch using the link and not just get a quote which you come back to later). Octopus energy have 100% green electricity, are a Which recommended supplier and were one of the few suppliers to maintain a full telephone service during the pandemic. They’re a different supplier to the one I was recommending last series and are definitely worth a look as we head into the colder months.

Switching energy suppliers is quick (it takes about 2 minutes to sign up from my link and usually about 3 weeks for the process to complete), there is no interruption to your energy supply, no engineers have to visit and you don’t need to change you meters (unless you sign up to a smart tariff and don’t have a compatible meter). I get £50 from every switch so this does help me out quite a bit.

Don’t forget if you do switch to enter their competition to win an Electric Car. You should see details on how to enter in your account dashboard.

Alternatively you can help me out by doing things as simple as liking all my content, sharing it and getting involved in the discussions on the social networks. This all helps to increase my visibility and get me noticed on those networks and is also appreciated!
