We’re one week away from Blackpool but before that there is one more week to get through. With tickets on the bus to Blackpool up for grabs this week is really important to the 8 remaining couples
But who is going to get a place on the bus? And who doesn’t need a bucket and spade?
Due to other commitments I’m not able to provide my normal commentary on Facebook or Twitter tonight so this post (and the related posts on the social networks) will be your hub for discussion tonight. As always you can let me know your comments right here in the comments section or you can head on over to Facebook or Twitter to let me know your thoughts there. To get involved on Twitter remember to tag @davejthorp and include #StrictlySpoiler. Each time you get involved in the discussion you earn an entry into this month’s prize draw to win an iPad.
There’s also another chance to win on the social networks if you can spot the hidden password in the spoiler post posted later tonight. Full details on how to get involved there will be on the spoiler post and on the social networks.
As always I will be opening a poll here when all 8 couples have danced so you can pick your favourites this week. You will be able to select up to 3 options like normal and this will give you something to do while you are refreshing the site while you wait for the spoiler to come in.

The spoiler is likely to land sometime around 11pm tonight and will be posted as normal despite my other commitments preventing me from doing commentary. Please can I ask that you do not bombard me with messages on Facebook or Twitter asking if I have heard yet. I receive hundreds of notifications on a Saturday night and your messages will get lost in the noise. Plus you can easily tell if I have heard yet by checking to see if I have posted it here. If it’s posted here, I have heard, if it’s not posted here, I haven’t!
Providing you guys with the spoiler and Strictly news costs me over £1000 a year in web hosting costs which last year was helped out by people just like you. If you can afford to make a one time donation and want to help me out with these costs for the 2019 series or if you just want to buy me a cool refreshing beer to thank me for all the spoilers you can do so using THIS LINK or the button below
Or you can now set up a regular donation to help support me every month using the button below. You can choose to donate any amount from £5 a month (sorry I would have liked to allow lower regular donations but the system only allows for a minimum of £5 per month). You are free to cancel your regular donations at any time but will be automatically charged your selected amount every month if you donate using the button below. If you’d rather make a one time donation you should use the PayPal link/button above!
Winter is coming meaning this is the best possible time for you to check your energy prices and make sure you are on a good deal. Switching takes 2 minutes and if you switch using MY LINK you can earn yourself £50 and you also support me for free. Bulb will pay your exit fees if your old supplier charges any, do not charge any exit fees themselves so you are always free to switch and have 100% green energy at low prices. Win for the planet and win for your pocket!
You can also read about the numerous other ways you can support me and the work I do including more free ways to support me (and maybe earn yourself a few quid in the process) and additional ways to make a cash donation that do not attract fees like the PayPal donations do HERE
Finally please also give this post a good old like/share using the buttons for all popular social networks above and below or over on Facebook or Twitter. Your likes and shares help spread the word about The Strictly Spoiler and really do help me out!
Scoring all over the place again! Honestly I’ve seen policemen on point duty give better and more fluid performances than Mike’s Paso tonight, and Chris Ramsey’s stomping tango-by-numbers was dire with only Craig giving a justifiably forthright opinion of it. As for the post millennial drip blubbering after his dance with Amy, how did he get such high marks given the blunders he made? (We weren’t even spared his wretched ‘heart-hands’ this week, they stuck it in on VT from last week!)
Please, Mike Bushell, go tonight, please!
Come in Mike. Your time is up.
Mike has to go.
Much as I like Mike Bushell and admire him for giving it a good go, particularly the solo section at the start of the Paso, he’s by far the worst in the competition and should have gone three weeks ago. I’m not sure whether those who went out instead would have won, but they were definitely better than Mike. Whatever dances the judges watched for three weeks, they weren’t the dances that the rest of us saw!
As a fellow Oldham Roughyed, it’s Kelvin all the way for me. Who knew that hips like that were made in Oldham?!
