???? ???? ???? ????
Katie really had to go, no other choice possible. Much as I love her she had several bad moments and was obviously the poorest dancer.
A fitting result as they were not as good. Come on Kellie.
What is the matter with the judges
Really Craig !!!!
Well I for one am disappointed. I really wanted them to win. Ive always suspected that Craig doesn’t like Anton and I feel it’s been born out throughout the series.
My big problem with Strictly though (apart from the presenters) is that age and experience and physical attributes aren’t taken into account. A 40 – 50 year old can’t usually move as well as a 20 year old. Someone with an element of dance training will always have an advantage over someone who hasn’t and someone tall and spindly, round and well built isn’t going to compete with those of a balanced physique.
If judges can’t take these things into account then why invite them onto the programme because they will never win. (My heart went out to Jeremy Vine when he was criticised for his smile. Out of line Bruno). Perhaps the judges would be wise to have a look at themselves prancing about before getting personal.
End of rant.
A wasted place tonight, it should’ve been Anita in the final. Katie was absolutely stunning and very elegant in slow dances, However, she struggled with other types of fast movement dances. I personally think it’s time Anton retired this year.
Katie should not have been in the final. They didn’t even deserve a mark if 31. She can’t dance and as Craig said, the other finalists were in a different league. The judges only gave Katie and Anton 31 to justify putting them in the final over Anita. Katie and Anton are sooooo irritating. She has taken on several of his phrases and his laugh. She always has her hand on his shoulder when being interviewed, making it appear as though he has a small animal living on it. Very disappointed with Strictly this year.
Katie did a decent job in the final, but that was all it was. Unfortunately the way the semi worked & the final dance for Anita being the one that wasn’t great compared to Katie’s improvent meant that the judges made the right decision that night & we missed out on what would have been a real show dance spectacular!
However, that’s not her fault & she raised her game in the final, so she can be proud.
